Prime Intellect secures $130 million to empower companies in AI agent development

Prime Intellect, founded in 2024, specializes in providing computing power and software tools for companies to develop AI agents. The Series A funding round was led by Radical Ventures, with contributions from Nvidia Ventures, Intel Capital, and others.

The startup's platform offers a full-stack solution for AI agent development, including compute access, a reinforcement learning framework, and evaluation tools, allowing customers to select specific tools as needed.

Prime Intellect has attracted clients such as Ramp, Zapier, and Flapping Airplanes, achieving an annualized revenue run rate of $100 million. Companies are increasingly seeking to build their own AI capabilities to maintain control over their data and reduce reliance on external models.

Co-founder and CEO Vincent Weisser emphasizes the importance of democratizing AI model training, aiming to make these capabilities accessible to all enterprises, not just a select few.
